It grew greatly in importance as the Barton Farm (main estate farm). Honey Cottage was originally the main farm house of the estate farmer & The Gallery was once four workers’ cottages, in which lived 14 people at the end of the 19th century. The restoration of the Grade II listed farmhouse and courtyard has resulted in a unique property in rare state of preservation.
