Welcome to Eggesford Barton - Steeped in West Country history and surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside, Eggesford Barton holiday cottages offer gracious accommodation with a wealth of features and modern facilities.  The Barton formed part of the Earl of Portsmouth's estate in the South West and is approached through park-like grounds, with double oak doors set in an arched entrance.  The holiday cottages are arranged around an enclosed courtyard with cobbled pathways and lawned gardens.  In history, the scene was that of a bustling main farm for the Estate, one of the most picturesque in the South West. 

We welcome responsible dog owners. Eggesford Forest is great dog walking country and the nearby National Trust beach at Saunton Sands allows dogs all year round.

The holiday cottages have been converted and renovated and each has its own garden area with barbecues available. The cottages have interconnecting doors and so all three can be booked to provide the perfect setting for a special family or friends' celebration, accommodating up to 24 adults. .  More or Click for virtual gallery.
